PACERS AUTO

The Pacers' were crowd favorites on the East Cost drag strips throughout the 60's. Pacers Auto, Inc. ® co-owners, driver, George Snizek and tuner, Charlie Dodge (1931-2002) set numerous Track, Meet, & National Records across the East Coast Division 1 AA/A, CC/FD, A/FD & AA/FD classes. Crowds loved their tire smokin' performances as they roared down the track leaving behind only hazy tire smoke trails. The Snizek & Dodge team were founding members of the CARS Magazine Racing Team and served as the Official Road Test Consultants for the magazine. They were even the subjects of Walter Ungerer's film, "The Tasmanian Devil" which was shot in 1963 when The Pacers backed up the National Speed Record they set the week before.
